Ambassadors for Black Art Pre-Art (+Soul) Talk Reception
February 6, 2026
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
at PAMM
Start the new year with an inspiring conversation between Pérez Art Museum Miami's (PAMM) Art + Soul honoree, Fab 5 Freddy and Franklin Sirmans, Sandra and Tony Tamer Director at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Ambassadors for Black Art members and Art + Soul supporters are invited to a private gathering and meet-and-greet with Art + Soul Honoree, Fab 5 Freddy, featuring light bites, drinks, and engaging conversation. The evening continues with reserved front-section seating for the public program.
Across art, music, film, and television, Fab 5 Freddy's work has consistently dissolved boundaries between so-called high and popular culture, creating space for Black creativity to be seen, heard, and valued on a global stage. His legacy is not only artistic, but deeply social—rooted in access, exchange, and cultural pride. Fab 5 Freddy will share the history of his uniquely creative path and how he continues to find ways to stay inspired and create in his upcoming memoir "Everybody's Fly: A Life of Art, Music, and Changing the Culture."
